MARKETING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
We are looking for a full-time experienced Marketing Account Executive to join our friendly team in Glasgow. A “full service” comms, brand, design and marketing agency, we work with clients throughout the UK and beyond in a variety of industries, from food and drink to construction, healthcare to Apps and innovation. We need someone experienced to hit the ground sprinting so you'll be up for a challenge and ready to dive straight in to a busy environment.
The phrase “every day is different” was practically invented for this role.
While your primary responsibility will be to work on and develop client accounts effectively (working closely with clients to identify their needs and delivering in conjunction with our design team, where required) - you’ll also be dealing with social media, writing marketing and communication plans, liaising with advertising publications, website content updates and assisting with cost proposal and presentations while you are at it, providing support and ideas for Business Development.
You should tick all the standard job application boxes; enthusiastic, team player with a collaborative nature, creative, driven, and enthusiastic… love people, be curious about brands and how we can grow them … however we're looking for someone who can really knock our socks off.
You’ll have outstanding communication skills and a record of success in working with multiple accounts, the ability to problem solve and prioritise and handle assigned tasks with appropriate urgency and within often tight deadlines. Social media experience – general management, content creation and advertising - will be core to this role together with handling traditional media such as advertising, and production of marketing materials.
It would be an added bonus if you had WordPress and / or other website CMS experience, too.
You may have worked in an agency or busy internal marketing department – and are looking for your next challenge and chance to make an impact in a fulfilling role.
